Vice’s birthday tour stopped off in L.A with a huge production for his themed VICE AIRWAVES “BlackOut” party. The party was last Tuesday and was a lot of fun because it was invite only leaving the club packed with a great mix of people who really wanted to be there!
Check out the video for a teaser of what went down.
I also must say that attending 4 of the 6night birthday celebrations was exhilarating and exhausting! I don’t know how he does it!
Are you onboard with Vice Airwaves?
Podcasts, newsletters, give aways and keeping up with Vice’s event calendar.
The Vice Airwaves podcasts are great in my iPod!! Love em!
Vice interviews Kobe Bryant (Go LAKERS) at Vice’s 1st shoe store CRSVR (pronounced Crossover) in Santa Barbara. This was a big deal because Vice is a big Laker fan that also proudly reps Los Angeles where he is born & raised. You really can’t get more ‘L.A’ than Hollywood & the Lakers!

In Norway Vice got his hip hop cred’ showing his roots with a set that leaned predominantly hip hop. MAN! Oslo has got such a love for classic hip hop it is ridiculous! That is probably largely due to the guys who run JUICY events and were celebrating their birthdays that night. Patski Love & Chris Stallion
They also really show their LOVE for Vice out here - he had some really great fans that talked with us at the end of the night.
It was such a fun night because of this and it felt a lot like NYC because we were up top a roof deck about to cave the floor in with how packed + extremely hot it was up there.
Here is a clip from my favorite hip hop song right now - straight FIRE when it is dropped in a club…as you will see!
DJ Khaled I’m On One (feat. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne)

The guys from Juicy in Oslo always put out mix cds with DJs from all over the world doing drops throughout the mix. Check out the recent mix “OSLO LIVE VOL 10”

At one of the airports they had this donation globe to throw in spare currency to donate to a children’s charity and I wanted to include some American currency in there to help out + represent the U.S
Then I thought to slap a VICE sticker on it as well.
Worldwide recognition!!!
Guerilla Marketing at it’s finest.
A short video that captures the protest outside of the Playboy Club, London with Vice walking the red carpet and getting BOOed. Every guest that walked in got this same treatment with the women chanting “Eff off Heff!” & “BOO!”
