My thoughts, pictures, video and life as it unfolds traveling alongside a world wide deejay who I will someday (soon) call my husband. Music, new places, new people, nightclubs and life as I know it best, in short...I am with the deejay.

4 Halloween parties and 3 cities… San Diego, Vegas and San Francisco.

I love this video recap…shows how boring the whole tour was.

#ViceAirwaves

Vice’s birthday tour stopped off in L.A with a huge production for his themed VICE AIRWAVES “BlackOut” party. The party was last Tuesday and was a lot of fun because it was invite only leaving the club packed with a great mix of people who really wanted to be there!
Check out the video for a teaser of what went down.
I also must say that attending 4 of the 6night birthday celebrations was exhilarating and exhausting! I don’t know how he does it!

Video Recap of “BlackOUT” DJ Vice birthday party, Los Angeles

"You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."

Had to steal this off of Vice’s website- this is so funny!!

Just shows how wide dub step appeal is getting! blows my mind

Kids, teddy bears and cereal … wonder if dub step producers/djs ever thought their music could reach that far.

“…I have good taste! ”  WOW, everything in this video is exactly how I felt for years..but NOW, oh man, but now… I enjoy this process! I keep producing work, writing, networking and surrounding myself with like minded and supportive individuals because I know with all my heart that my work will start to catch up to being “as good as my ambitions.”

I not only have good taste but I have a purpose!

Video and Poem by Metaphorest

Illustrations by mirtle

Metaphorest writes:

Just a very simple little video/slideshow of my poem for mirtle’s series of drawings. It could be a lot more awesome with even some simple animation? <3

===

Metaphorest wrote the beautiful poem inspired by mirtle’s wondrous illustrations and then she plotted it out so simply in this video. So, are there any animators who wanna take this to the next level?

It's Love (trippin) by Goldtrix

I hear music visually and then kinesthetically. I see it playing out in my head and then notice how it makes me feel. I visualize how the song could be portrayed in either a movie scene as part of the score, a music video, or choreographed in dance.

It’s a helpful inclination I posses, that is complimentary when paired up with Vice who hears the breakdown of what a song is comprised of. He notices things like the drum patterns and samples used, while I focus on where I see it going, how it could be used and what it makes me feel.

This song is one of my FAVORITES because I think it would be perfect for a scene in a movie…and I know exactly what kind of scene. I think that is why I love this song so much. An oldie but a goodie! #housemusic

Last night at the Thievery concert was a lot of fun and it was my first time at the Greek theater in Los Feliz.
Want to put more attention into planning to attend concerts because I really do enjoy them. The next one up is Collie Buddz next month at House of Blues in San Diego.
